About Revenant Taxidermy
Revenant Taxidermy is born from a love for nature and a desire to preserve the natural world and bring it into your home.
Julia Alexander has been working in museums for 7 years, preserving specimens for scientific collections for the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. During the COVID lockdowns, she began experimenting with taxidermy and skeletal articulations. That experimentation quickly became an obsession to open her own studio and make taxidermy a full time job.
Julia moved back to her home state of Colorado, both to be closer to family and open Revenant Taxidermy. An avid bird watcher in her spare time, Julia loves working with birds in the intimate space of taxidermy.
